We get things done for kids in St. Louis Park by engaging motivated volunteers. Our team holds quarterly training sessions for new Children First Champions. Members of the Champion network get together throughout the year to live out their commitment to children and youth.
We are excited to announce the launch of a cross-sector Cradle to Career partnership that focuses on key outcomes in children’s lives. The partnership is a member of the StriveTogether cradle to career Network and the Minnesota Education Partnership Coalition.
Each year we celebrate our amazing community’s achievements at the Champions Breakfast in March. In May, we bring families together for an old-fashioned Ice Cream Social to promote the developmental assets.
Champions Breakfast
Join us at the Children First Champions Breakfast and unite in our mission to improve the futures of all children in St. Louis Park. We look forward to sharing the progress of the past year and getting inspired together for the upcoming one. This year’s focus is on youth as agents of change for the better so our theme is very fitting – Believe in Better! Be a champion for children in SLP and join us at 7:30am on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at the DoubleTree in St. Louis Park.
